Due to the passage of Session Law (S.L.) 2015-7, all intermediate and high hazard dam owners in the state of North Carolina were required to submit their Emergency Action Plans to the NCDEQ Dam Safety department by December 31, 2015. Dam Owners who are required to submit an EAP, but have not yet, are subject to be penalized per §143- 215.36.
